Forming part of the Mayana Spring "Woven Origins" collection, these exotic and intricately woven squares are inspired by crochet stitch patterns. Each bead is added individually to create a complex color pattern. The woven portion of the earring is hung from a brass earring component which is attached to a 14K hypoallergenic gold plated ear wire. Adorning the bottom of the woven beadwork, are gold drop beads.
These earrings are handwoven by women artisans from vulnerable communities in Medellin, Colombia who receive fair working conditions and compensation for their skills.
